for Individuals

What are you saving for?

We offer professionally managed retirement accounts for individuals seeking:

Traditional IRA

A Traditional IRA account may give you an immediate tax benefit because contributions are often tax deductible. Taxable distributions from an IRA can be taken without penalty starting at age 59½ and must be started by April 1st of the year following the year the account owner reaches 70½. Prime and Asset Management Accounts are managed by a Financial Adviser. Wealth and Private Wealth Management Accounts qualify for Galleon Flagship Services, and are managed by a Wealth Manager.

ROTH IRA

A Roth IRA’s tax advantages differ from the Traditional IRA. If eligible for this account, your annual contribution limits are the same but are not tax deductible. However, since annual contributions have already been taxed, these contributions will never be taxed again and earnings can grow tax free. In addition, the contributed funds can be withdrawn any time you wish and there are no required minimum distributions after age 70½. Prime and Asset Management Accounts are managed by a Financial Adviser. Wealth and Private Wealth Management Accounts qualify for Galleon Flagship Services, and are managed by a Wealth Manager.

SEP IRA

A SEP IRA is a written plan that allows an employer to make contributions toward their own retirement and their employees’ retirement without getting involved in a more complex qualified plan. Under a SEP, the employer makes contributions to a traditional individual retirement arrangement (called a SEP IRA) set up by or for each eligible employee. A SEP IRA is owned and controlled by the employee, and the employer makes contributions to the financial institution where the SEP IRA is maintained. The employee may also make annual contributions subject to the limits for traditional IRAs. Prime and Asset Management Accounts are managed by a Financial Adviser. Wealth and Private Wealth Management Accounts qualify for Galleon Flagship Services, and are managed by a Wealth Manager.

Rollover IRA

One way to take control of your retirement savings is to roll over your plan from a former employer. People who elect to rollover assets from a 401k or 403b plan often experience lower administrative fees and considerably more investment choices that are better for their personal situation. A Rollover is a Traditional IRA that only holds assets received as a rollover distribution from a retirement plan. The term ‘rollover’ simply helps people identify the assets as a rollover from a retirement plan. Prime and Asset Management Accounts are managed by a Financial Adviser. Wealth and Private Wealth Management Accounts qualify for Galleon Flagship Services, and are managed by a Wealth Manager.

Retirement Planning

Planning for your retirement goes beyond your future financial needs. Other important factors include your health and well-being, emotional readiness, lifestyle, and personal preferences, all of which require careful planning. Mostly everyone dreams of a comfortable, secure, and meaningful retirement. This requires a stable income stream, less exposure to financial risks, and being prepared for the unexpected. We suggest you begin by envisioning what these factors will look like when you retire.

Seeking Income

Investment strategies that worked over the last 15 or 20 years may not necessarily work today if you are seeking income. We leverage our best thinking to help today’s income investors take advantage of the broadening investment landscape, while addressing their tolerance for risk and need for current income.
